Renewable Energy Welshpool

Here at Greener Renewable Solutions we can help with all aspects of installing, maintaining and fixing renewable energy appliances and insulation for commercial and domestic properties.

We can provide and install many renewable energy options. Our Solar panels help support your electric demand. Buy some plug timers for when you are out so you can use the power you generate. You can even store the electricity you generate in a battery storage system then use the electric at any time becoming a more sustainable home. We also offer Solar-assisted heat pumps to heat your water, a solar-assisted heat pump is a machine that represents the integration of a heat pump and thermal solar panels in a single integrated system. Typically, these two technologies are used separately to produce hot water.

With our Air Source heat pumps you can reduce energy bills when replacing traditional electric, oil or LPG heating systems.  Air Source heat pumps absorb heat from the outside air to heat your home and hot water, if you have large garden space outside, you could consider a ground source heat pump. We can also provide Ground Source heat pumps, these use pipes that are buried in the garden to extract heat from the ground.  A ground source heat pump circulates a mixture of water and antifreeze around a loop of pipe, called a ground loop, which is buried in your garden.

We can also supply and fit roof insulation, using Earthwool Loft Rolls which are non-combustible Glass Mineral Wool rolls, manufactured using our revolutionary ECOSE® Technology & are designed specifically for use in cold lofts where pitched roofs are insulated at ceiling level.

For any home or business that require electric charging points for cars and vans (EV) we cater for your needs.

We can also maintain and repair broken solar panels, broken inverters and all your renewable energy appliances

You can even get government grants for renewable energy products and insulation and the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) grant on our ground source heat pumps

                                    About  Welshpool

Welshpool is a town and community in Wales, historically in the county of Montgomeryshire, but currently administered as part of the unitary authority of Powys. The town is situated 4 miles from the Wales–England border and low-lying on the River Severn; its Welsh language name Y Trallwng means “the marshy or sinking land”. Welshpool is the fourth largest town in Powys. The community includes Cloddiau and Pool Quay.

Apart from its setting in rolling borderland, Welshpool’s principal attraction to the visitor is the 13th Century Powis Castle – a sandstone castle overlooking the Severn Valley.

You can also visit the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway – a narrow gauge steam train operating throughout the summer months. It was originally built to take local people to market with their sheep and cattle. The line was closed in 1956 but reopened by enthusiasts in 1960. It runs on an 8 mile journey from Raven Square and operates between Easter and early October – but not every day.

For the shopper there are many interesting places to see, including the narrow lanes that link the main streets, and the Old Station – now the site of the Edinburgh Woollen Mill.

Walkers have a large range of areas to visit in the vicinity. These include Offa’s Dyke (a mile outside the town), the banks of the Montgomery Canal which now runs for 30 miles and most of which is accessible, and many public footpaths in the local countryside. The Severn Farm Pond Nature reserve is a further place worth a visit.

For those keen on sporting activities there is angling on the River Severn, an interesting golf course nearby, and various facilities at the Flash sports centre including a swimming pool and indoor bowls hall.
